The positive impact of Information Communication Technology (ICT) on the everyday lives of individuals across the globe is undeniable. Widespread use of ICT has made so many tasks easier for the average person—everything from connecting with family, friends and business to booking a flight. Yet in developing nations such as Zambia, there exists a persistent gap between individuals and reliable ICT systems. Incorporating digital governance into African systems will help to remove that digital divide. Zedliner Digital is ready to meet these challenges by designing and implementing ICT solutions that will help to bridge the gap, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Our model is based on providing solutions that give Africans equitable and inclusive access to government and private services. Zedliner Digital’s strategy focuses on implementing systems that are both efficient and have an emphasis on privacy and security.

As an overarching strategy our vision of the digital space is one that encapsulates all the sectors we are involved in, from providing solutions for national identity, payments and land tenure systems, to rethinking urbanization and creating smarter cities. Through these methods we will facilitate innovation and the creation of content and applications that are context-appropriate, development-oriented and scalable to deliver social and economic benefits.

By leveraging new technologies like blockchain and smart contracts, we can transform supply chains in sectors such as agriculture and mining and also implement fintech solutions appropriate to a 21st-century African economy. Fundamentally, we believe we can use technology to effect real positive change both for those living in rural areas and for residents of our sprawling cities.
